Le vibrazioni al variare delle frequenze catturano la nostra attenzione attraverso almeno 2 dei nostri sensi, in questo caso la vista. Gli occhi comunicano al cervello un’immagine che viene trasformata in un oggetto composto essenzialmente da un corpo e il suo colore.
Osservando la sagoma, il corpo, delle 4 Porsche 901 la mia immaginazione corre lontano fino alle indimenticabili 6H e 1000KM di Monza degli anni 70 dove nel plotone delle gruppo4 si sfidavano delle colorate 911 provenienti da un campionato monomarca made in USA: IROC International Racing Of Champions. Piloti come D Hulme, E Fittipaldi, P Revson, AJ Foyt, P Donohue ed altri sono stati associati semplicemente ad un modello, la 991RS, ed un colore personale.
Queste le premesse per lo sviluppo del primo progetto ZOT4SLOT, targato TT, sviluppato sulla base di quattro TA71SC PORSCHE 901 kit.
L’analisi del materiale fotografico e la conseguente valutazione delle possibili soluzioni grafiche consuma giusto il tempo di attendere l’orario d’apertura del negozio di modellismo Francesco Baracca a Monza, effettuato il rifornimento dei 4 colori rientro alla base dove le 4 Porsche 901 mi aspettano pronte per la prima stesura di fondo Tamiya Fine. Le ripetute mani di fondo e le necessarie fasi di carteggiatura mi permettono di passare alla verniciatura esterna con serenità ed entusiasmo.
Giallo, Azzurro, Grigio met, Viola, questi colori posandosi sulla superfice della carrozzeria evidenziano e mettono in risalto le forme ed i dettagli di questa splendida slotcar, attendo con impazienza i tempi essicazione dell’ultima mano, per evitare danni mi dedico allo schema grafico per la base delle decals ma, forse a causa di una soluzione univoca e semplice, in pochi istanti sono di nuovo di fronte alle 4 Porsche 901 in tutto il loro splendore… non resta che lucidare con pazienza.
Come un ape affamata di polline osservo i colori da cui sono attratto, da vicino le 4 slotcar emettono ancora il tipico aroma della vernice fresca, quindi resto con il naso all’insu’ senza alcuna preferenza.
Riservo un particolare ringraziamento per TA71SC che ha creduto in questo progetto destinando a ZOT4SLOT la produzione dedicata di queste 4 slotcar che solo osservate sembrano spingere per correre in pista.

The vibrations frequency variation captures our attention through at least 2 of our senses, right the view in this case. The eyes tell the brain an image that is converted into an object consisting essentially of a body and its color.
Just observing the Porsche 901’s body shape my imagination runs away to the unforgettable 6H and 1000KM of Monza of the 70’s where inside the Group4 platoon the colorful 911 from a monotype series made in USA IROC International Racing Of Champions was challenging.
Drivers such as D Hulme, And Fittipaldi, P Revson, AJ Foyt, P Donohue and others were simply associated with a model, the 991RS, and a custom color.
These are the premises for the development of the first ZOT4SLOT project, TT labelled, developed on the basis of four TA71SC PORSCHE 901 kit.
The analysis of the photographic material and the subsequent evaluation of possible graphics solutions consumes just long enough to wait for the hobby store Modellismo Baracca in Monza opening, refueled the 4 colors I return to the base where the 4 Porsche 901 are ready to expect the first primer coating by Tamiya Fine. Repeated coats of primer and the necessary sanding steps allow me to go to the exterior paint with serenity and enthusiasm.
Yellow, Blue, Gray met, Purple, alighting these colors on the surface of the bodywork underline and highlight the shapes and details of this magnificent slotcar. Looking forward to the drying time of the last hand, I dedicate myself to avoid damage to the graphic scheme for the base of the decals but, perhaps because of a unique and simple solution, in a few moments I’m back in the face of 4 Porsche 901 in all their glory … it just has to polish it with patience.
Like a pollen hungry bee I observe the colors from which they are painted, closely the 4 slotcars still emit the typical aroma of fresh paint, so i stay with my nose up without any preference.
I reserve a special thanks to TA71SC who believed in this project by allocating ZOT4SLOT to the dedicated production of these 4 slotcars that just observed seem to push to run on the track.
